Dr. Ankita Mittal

Dr. Ankita Mittal did her MBBS and MS from Pt. B. D. Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak. A sound clinician, she believes in evidence based medicine and makes every effort that her patients get the best of treatment and care. She also has keen interest in academics. She was the university topper in Obstetrics and Gynaecology during her speciality training and was the first runner up at the Torrent Young Scholar award (North zone- 2013). She has published as well as reviewed articles for numerous international journals of repute. She regularly participates in various scientific conferences and has delivered multiple oral and video presentations. Her presentation on "Deep infiltrating endometriosis" at the FOGSI, IAGE annual conference- “The ultimate advances in Gynaecology” (2015) was awarded the runner’s up prize for best paper (oral/ video). The abstract for her e- poster at the recently held RCOG World Congress, 2018 (Singapore) was selected among the top 500 abstracts globally.

She has done her subspeciality training in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery from Munich (Germany) and Ahmedabad. Presently she is working as a consultant at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon.
